…there’s a girl whose home has always been the stories she’s read and the stories she’s told.

This girl is eager to tell her stories, yet she needs a little push to bring her work outside of the little home that she’s built for herself.
That’s Sunndaiz.
Sunndaiz is a public portfolio of her creative work, but it’s also a reminder that stories evolve . That stories aren’t perfect; that they change with the person crafting it. That while it’s important to strive for perfection, it’s just as important to enjoy the journey of getting to “perfection.”
So this is a creative journey. The work featured here is a mix of copy, visuals, and photography. Some things are professional. Others are to satisfy purely personal whimsy. They might not be perfect, but believe me, the girl is learning to tell her story.

Curious about all of the many squirrels scattered around?
In college, I gave an unofficial TEDTalk on the lesson that the campus squirrels can teach us.
To look up.
Not literally (though sometimes it’s necessary to look up to avoid falling acorns (a true story, unfortunately)). But just as the squirrels are attentive to changes in their environment, we, too, shouldn’t let our focus be consumed by one thing.
A stretch, perhaps. Yet the squirrels here on this site remind me to look. To learn something new. To be attentive to change; that there’s merit in questioning and coming up with a response.
Sunndaiz Style Guide
In the spirit of branding, I can’t forget to brand myself. This was built using Figma to remember how I’d like to position myself and Sunndaiz as a brand (and also so I don’t forget the HEX codes).
